Please join us on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in the Majestic Ballroom at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel for a special anniversary celebration and educational event that addresses two social ills plaguing our community: addiction and homelessness.
While we celebrate the legacy of our legendary leader Bob Cote’, we will also be announcing Step Denver’s intentions to combat the escalating rise of drug and alcohol abuse shattering our community. In an effort to educate the public on the growing epidemic of prescription drug and heroin abuse, we will be screening the documentary film “Chasing the Dragon: Life of an Opiate Addict.” We are honored that a panel of guests including Dr. Robert Valuk, Professor, Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Colorado; Marc Condojani, Director, Community Treatment and Recovery Program, Office of Behavioral Health; Paul Scudo, Executive Director, Step Denver; Deputy Chief Todd Reeves, Westminster Police Department, and Michael Nordwall, ASAC Criminal Branch, FBI Denver Division will be discussing topics addressed in the documentary and answering your questions immediately following the film.
We look forward to you joining us to celebrate what makes Step Denver a unique organization.
